John was first hired by The Fletcher-Terry Company in 1987 with the introduction of the F-2000 mat cutter, a professional machine used by picture framers around the world.  At the time, they were in need of a framer who could demonstrate the machine to customers and their distributors.  This developed into a full time consulting role for this respected manufacturer of picture framing equipment.

Through the next 27 years, John has presented workshops for framers teaching them how to use this equipment in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Turkey, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Russia, Mexico, Canada and of course the United States.
